Collaboration between RSWE and ORASCOM
On July 21, 2024, RSWE and Orascom collaborated on a new CSR activity in Ras Ghareb. This latest collaboration involved the installation of two protective awnings at Al-Shorouk Nursery, one covering the outdoor play area and the other in the nursery's back section. The project aims to protect the children from harmful sun exposure while safeguarding the playground and nursery property from any potential damage. RSEW and Orascom aim to implement CSR projects that enhance the local community's well-being.
Commencement of Renovation Work at El Mina Primary School On August 4th, RSWE and RGWE projects officially approved “the renovation works at El Mina primary school” CSR project. This project is very important because El Mina School is the only educational institution serving the El Mina area in Ras Ghareb. This area currently lacks essential services and adequate facilities for quality education.
The renovation process started after the Educational Buildings Authority handed over the school to the contractor in charge of implementing the improvements. The goal is to upgrade the school’s infrastructure, making it a more supportive and conducive environment for students.
The project includes a range of improvements, such as roof treatment and insulation to protect against external conditions, repainting classrooms with high-quality paints, and a complete overhaul of the bathrooms to ensure a healthy and safe environment for the children. The renovation work is progressing smoothly and is expected to be completed by October. Once finished, the upgraded school will be handed over, providing students with a more suitable space for learning, and ultimately enhancing their educational experience.
